Microblading – Everything You Need To Know About This Semi Permanent Eyebrow Treatment.

The semi permanent secret to faking fuller groomed eyebrows that look completely natural is microblading, it’s also super hassle free once you have had the treatment.

What Is Microblading?

Microblading is a type of eyebrow architecture. It’s is all about creating the best shape for each face-a totally bespoke treatment for each client.

The process is very precise thanks to the the tool that is used which is effectively like a pen with the nib being a sloped blade with 10-12 little needles at the end-needles that don’t penetrate the skin but just delicately scratch the surface, much like a paper cut.

The needle very finely implants featherweight strokes with a medical grade pigment on the epidermis layer of the skin, creating fine realistic and natural hair strokes.

Microblading is different to tattooing and uses no electrical tools to tattoo.

Can you be allergic to Microblading?

Some people can be yes, however we perform a patch test prior to your appointment.

What happens when you get your eyebrows microbladed?

1. We shape the brow area by threading the hairs, cleaning the area and preparing it for the treatment
2. Numbing – this takes about 30-45 minutes to activate using a topical ointment
3. 10 minutes before the numbing cream has activated we will use tools to start measuring the brows taking into account your face shape, symmetry and facial features etc.
4. We then begin the needling process by gently implanting the pigment via featherweight strokes. Each stroke is superficial in line with the pigment.
5. We then add the final layer of the pigment which stays on for around 5 mins, clean the area then voila-beautiful brows.
6. In around 6-8 weeks a top up session is needed to fill any gaps where the pigment hadn’t taken or healed properly
